Physician - Retired, Government of Canada Peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, April 26, 2002 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Elvira Arsenian. Step-father of Jose Gonzalez (Karen), Elvira Gonzalez and the late Wilson Gonzalez. Also survived by daughter Andrea Janz (Frank) and cherished granddaughter Adrienne Janz of Winnipeg. Jerry will be sadly missed by nephew Garabed Kassakhian and his family, and niece Isgouhi Kassakhian of Los Angeles, California and by many other family and friends. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Monday, April 29, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at 12 noon. Interment Hope Cemetery with reception to follow in the McGarry Resource and Reception Centre, 328 McLeod Street. A very special thank you to Longfields Manor, Arnprior Grove Nursing Home, Orchard View Living Centre, visiting nurses, as well as Greely neighbours Andy, Martin, Gunter, Kevin and their families for their invaluable support and assistance.
