Father John B.Th. Suddenly at his home in Perth on Saturday, April 27, 2002 Father John Wiseman at the age of 62, currently was serving the Parish at Montague and formerly the Parishes of St. Mary the Virgin, St. John's, Newfoundland and Hodge's Cove, Newfoundland, Canadian armed Forces, Provost Corps. (retired) and Padre of Branch 244, Royal Canadian Legion, Perth. Father John was the cherished husband of Lorraine (Upshaw) Wiseman. Dear father of Michelle (Robert) Slack of Carleton Place, Kim Wiseman (Honza Kozel) of Toronto and grandfather of Jason King and Jessica and Mitchel Slack. He is also survived by 4 sisters and 4 brothers, and was predeceased by one sister and 2 infant brothers. Father John will be sadly missed by all his family and many good friends and colleagues. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. Father John will lie in state in St. James Anglican Church, Perth Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Bede's Parish Cemetery, Nolan's Corners. In remembrance, contributions to St. Bede's Anglican Church or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated. Branch 244, Royal Canadian Legion Perth will hold a Service of Remembrance Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church. The Ottawa Citizen, 29-04-2002
