In hospital, Ottawa, on Sunday, April 28, 2002. Pierre Picard at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Georgette (Hains) Picard. Loved father of Claire (Alain Rose) of Ottawa, Line Adrain of Perth, Diane (Claude) Picard-Cote of Gatineau, Pierre-Paul Picard of Ottawa, Johanne (Daniel) Boisclair of Ottawa, Richard (Lynne) Picard of Perth. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of Paul of Rimouski, Bertrand of Montreal, Jeanne Mauge of Rimouski, Yvette Picard of Rimouski and Simone Gallant of Quebec City. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 12 noon Thursday. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. John's Church, Perth at 1:30 p.m. In remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
