In hospital Perth on Thursday, May 2, 2002 with his family at his side, Perry Kargakos (former owner of Perry's Restaurant in Lanark and Perth) in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Crosbie) Kargakos. Loved father of Angela (Joe) Curro of Navan, Tracey (Rick) Burke of Perth, Christina "Buffy" (Ralph) Stiller of Brooke, Patsy (Jim) King of London and Demetrie Kargakos (Leon Laming) of Athens. Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Kali, Amy, Michael, Becky, Nikki and Kelsey. Dear brother of Paul (Sophia) Kargakos of Amikles, Greece, Tasia Anastasakos of Greece, George (Tasia) Kargakos of Ottawa, Jean (Louis) Maniatis of Ottawa, Nikolaos (Georgia) Kargakos of Montreal, Denis (Nicki) Giakoumelos of Ottawa, Georgia (Dimitrios) Tsoulamanis of Greece and the late Yiannis and Dimitra Kargakos of Montreal. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Monday, May 6, 2002 from 2 to 9 p.m. Greek Orthodox Service will be held in St. John's Church, Perth on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Columbkill's Cemetery, McDonalds Corners followed by a reception in the McDonalds Corners Agricultural Hall.
