Peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2002. Eileen Mooney age 96. Widow of William (Bill) H. Tinkess whom she married in 1931. Loving mother of Joan, Sylvia (Moe Wolff), Harold (Arlie) and Brian. Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren all of whom loved Grandma Tinkess and visited her faithfully. She in turn never lost interest in her extended family and constantly inquired after all of them by name. Predeceased by her son Allan and daughter Barbara Thompson. Her many devoted friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Ave. (west of Carlingwood) Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. Elizabeth's Church, (1303 Leaside Ave. at Merivale Rd.) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment South Gower Cemetery.
