(Day) On Wednesday, May 8, 2002, age 54. Marilyn bravely fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Beloved wife of Frank. Cherished mother of Jeanette and Vickie. Loving mother-in-law of Eric (Lapensee) and Rick (Dupuis). Adoring grandmother of Ken, Kyle, Jessie, Cody and Travis. Daughter of the late Bertha McConnell and Osborne Day. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, 2 brothers as well as other close family members and many good friends. Special thanks to Dr. Moonje and the nurses at the Civic, the General's Cancer Unit and staff at Elisabeth Bruyere (especially Helen). Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1745 Woodward Drive, Ottawa or the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre, 43 Bruyere Street, Ottawa.
