Allan J. M. STEEN

WW II-Veteran In hospital at Hornepayne, Ontario, Saturday, May 11, 2002, with his wife at his side, age 86. Beloved husband of Gwen, whom he met and married in London, England during WW II, where both were serving in the Canadian Army. Proud father of Douglas (Karen) of Edmonton, Robert (Elaine) of Ottawa and Bruce of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of Paula and Kelly. Dear brother of Edith Aselford, Elizabeth "Betty" Hayes and Mary Caldwell. Predeceased by a sister Lillian Blair and by a brother Rev. Cecil A. S. Steen. Before moving to Ottawa in 1966, Allan lived in Montreal and St. Bruno, Quebec. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Ave. (west of Carlingwood) Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Donations to the C.N.I.B. appreciated.
