Suddenly in hospital at Almonte on Sunday, May 12, 2002. Alton Box of Almonte age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Clarissa Bandy and by second marriage of the late Ethel Smith. Dearly loved dad of Mrs. Eleanor Forrest (Ken) and Bernard (Margaret) both of Almonte, Leonard (Bev) of MacDonald's Corners and Lloyd (Sharon) of Ottawa. Step-dad of Murray Smith (Jean) and Shirley McCartney. Special friend of Hazel Dransfield. Brother of Irene McConeghy, Margaret Sonnenburg and Mildred Munro all of Almonte and Glen (Anne) of White Lake. Predeceased by 4 brothers, Johnny, Willis, Wilbert and Eric. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte, for visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. S.
