Norma Lillian RIDDLE

(nee Riddle) Grateful for the gift of her life and the many blessings it bestowed upon us. Norma's family announces with deep sadness her passing on Sunday May 12, 2002 at the Willett Hospital, Paris after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Howard (1997) and devoted mother to Barry and his wife Cheryl of Carleton Place; Deborah Bannerman and Don (1999) of Cambridge and her husband Dennis Souder. She is the very proud grandmother of Katie Ann Devereux, Sara Jane and Molly Anne Bannerman and sister to Pauline Woodcock. Norma was a member of the Moyle Women's institute for many years and spent many years on the Paris Fair Board. She was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church, the WMS Fidelis Guild and Helen Young Missionary Group. Norma enjoyed her community life and being a caregiver and supporter to many of her friends, neighbours and family. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. at Paris Presbyterian Church, 164 Grand River Avenue, Paris. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations may be made in Norma's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Paris Presbyterian Church. Our heartfelt thanks to the Brantford General Hospital and especially the Willett Hospital, Paris for all their kindness shown to our mother.
