At Deep River and District Hospital on Sunday, May 12, 2002. Ed Rousseau age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Jan Dufour and cherished companion of Frances Edwards of Deep River. Loving father of Elayne McDermid of Brampton, Edward Rousseau Jr. and his wife Barbara of Barrie, Eric Rousseau and his wife Tammy of Richmond B.C. and Elyse (Mrs. Rodney Sheppard) of Port Elgin. Cherished grandfather of Evan Rousseau, Megan Kennedy (Steven), Hayley and Renton Sheppard and Teddy and Andy Rousseau. By request there will be no visitation. A graveside interment service will be conducted at a later date. Ed's family would like to also express their deep appreciation for the care and assistance of their father to the visiting nurses of the Community Care Access Centre; the staff at the Deep River and District Hospital, neighbours Claude and Helene Morel, Freida Boulton, Brian Slattery and Martin Harris. Donations to the Deep River and District Hospital (building fund) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
