Of Oakwood Terrace, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia went to be with the Lord, May 12, 2002, at the age of 86. Born in Saskatchewan, she grew up in Scotsburn, Pictou County, Nova Scotia and lived for many years in Burlington, Gorrie and Carleton Place, Ontario. Dearly loved wife of the late Ralph George Stirling and devoted mother to Laird (Carolyn) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Neil (Leta) of Collingwood, Ontario and Gail Butler (Dennis) of Carleton Place, Ontario. Grandmother to Laura, Robert, Peter and Miriam Stirling, Kathleen Cameron and Matthew and James Butler and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Cameron and sister-in-law, Doris. Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday, May 17th at Stairs Memorial United Church, Hester Street, Dartmouth, where Margaret was a member. Committal service 3 p.m. in Bethel Cemetery, Scotsburn. Donations to Alzheimer Society, Stairs United Memorial Fund, New Tribes Mission (Durham, Ontario) or charity of choice.
