Of R.R. #1, Cobden, in the Pembroke General Hospital on Thursday, May 16, 2002 in his 81st year. Gordon Hawthorne, beloved husband of Lillis Hawthorne (nee Bennett). Dear father of Glen (Jan) of Toronto. Helen (Gary Spencer) of Cornwall, Kenneth (Donna) of R.R. #1, Cobden. Loving grandfather to Erin and Brian, Sharon and Heather, Dana and Steven. Also survived by sisters Lena (Glen Byce) and Edna (Ray Watchorn) and sister-in-law Margaret Hawthorne. Predeceased by a sister Elma Waite (Gerald) and a brother Lloyd. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden, Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in Trinity United Church, Forester Falls, Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment Beachburg Union Cemetery.
