À l’Hôpital civique d’Ottawa, le samedi 18 mai 2002 à l’âge de 64 ans, est décédée Maryse Jerome Denis. Elle était l’épouse aimante de Robert, la mère chérie de Jocelyn (Bruce Gill) et Margot (Joseph Madge) et la grand-maman de Bridget, Élizabeth et Victoria. Elle manquera beaucoup à sa grande famille. Les amis peuvent se rendre à The Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (entre Baseline Rd. et Acres Rd.), Nepean, Ont., le mercredi 22 mai, entre 19 et 21 heures. Une messe commémorative sera célébrée jeudi à 11 heures, à St-Rémi Roman Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier, Ottawa. L’inhumation suivra au Pinecrest Cemetery.
