Passed away peacefully at the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre on Sunday May 19, 2002 in his 87th year. Predeceased by his wife Isabell (nee McMillan). A kind and gentle man will be missed by sons Donald (Judy), Douglas (Diane), grandchildren Kristin, Erin, Robert and Rebecca and sister Evelyn Campeau (Ad). Predeceased by a son Robert and brothers Leslie, John and Douglas. Alzheimer's may have stolen the present, but it couldn't take his spirit and his wonderful humour. Special thanks to the caring staff of Gatineau 2 North at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre and Thorncliffe Place Retirement Home. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Wednesday May 22, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday after 10 a.m. until the service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Dales Cemetery, Cumberland.
