Ruth Winnifred CLARK

Peacefully at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby with her girls around her son Sunday, May 19, 2002. Ruth, the heart of her family, was devoted to her role as wife mother and grandmother, following a career as a registered nurse. She expressed her caring nature through her community volunteer work. The cottage at Balsam Lake was her special place where years of family gatherings nurtured all. Wife of the late Dr. Andrew (1999) and dear mother of Barbara (Chris) Raven of Burlington, Mary (David) Hickling of Fort Frances, Diane (John) Kiser of Braeside, Joan Russell of Toronto and Margaret (Richard) VanGelder of St. Catharines. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Mark, Matthew, Heather, Jason, Brad, Scott, Stephanie, Ryan and Hilary. Sister of Helen (Albert) Scafetti, Karen (Mike) Piano, all of Hamilton and Peter (Bobbi) Clark of Hagersville. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4998 King Street, Beamsville on Thursday 7-8:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church, William Street, Beamsville on Friday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
