Passed away May 26, 2002 in Ottawa at the age of 63. Born in Kings County, she was the daughter of the late Katherine Viner (Stevens) and George Viner of Kings County. She served over 25 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Sergeant. She was a Public Service employee in Halifax and Ottawa for over 20 years. Surviving daughters, Wanda Young Jones, Beverly Jones, Monica Jones all of Halifax, Caprice Jones of Ottawa, and sons Rocco Jones, George Jones and Anthony Jones all of Halifax and Earl Jones of Ottawa. She had 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Leroy Rocco Jones and her son Jimmy Jones. The Ottawa Citizen, 29-05-2002
