(nee Perkins) Peacefully in Kemptville, on Tuesday, May 28, 2002, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Brownlee. Sister-in-law of Anna Perkins (Delmer predeceased). Predeceased by her sister Violet Leeson and brother Clemance (his late wife Jean). Daughter of the late William and Hannah Perkins. Bertha will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Former wife of a farmer, retired employee of the Kemptville Agriculture College and an avid Kemptville Lawn and 5 Pin Bowler. A fond farewell to a loving caregiver and a surrogate mother to many. Visitation at the Lee Cummings Funeral Home, North Gower, on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in North Gower United Church. Interment Malakoff Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Assemi and to all the nurses who attended to Bertha's care. The Ottawa Citizen, 29-05-2002
