Formerly of Ottawa, suddenly in hospital in Burlington, ON, May 28, 2002 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Ortman (CBC - ret'd.) and devoted mother of Donna (Al Lewis), Toronto, Deborah (Martin Downey), Burlington, ON, and Ria (Peter Adermann), Australia. Doting grandmother of Bronwyn Lewis, Matthew, Jordan and Kendall Downey and Sydney Adermann. She will be fondly remembered and missed by the Downeys of Ottawa and family in Western Canada.
