Suddenly, in Perth after returning to Lanark Lodge from her daily walk to Tim Horton's on Wednesday, May 29, 2002, Evelyn Campbell in her 82nd year. Born Sarah Evelyn MacGowan in Montreal, in 1921. She was the daughter of Samuel Joseph MacGowan and Mary (Kenyon) MacGowan. Beloved wife of the late Donald Clifford Campbell; loved mother of James Clifford (Janet) and Elsie Mary (Mike). Dear sister of Amy (Hans) Pokorney of Perth and cherished grandmother of Andrea, Mira and James and great-grandmother of Taryn. She was predeceased by brothers Hartley and Stanley. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Friday, May 31, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls.
