T. Gerald BUCKLEY

Rev. Fr. T. Gerald (Retired Priest of the Diocese of Pembroke) Peacefully at Marianhill Residence on Friday, May 31, 2002, in his 87th year in the presence of his family. Father Buckley was born in Belleville, Ontario, son of the late Francis V. and Annie (nee Netterville) Buckley. Dear brother of Claire Murray (late Thomas) of Barry's Bay, Jack F. Buckley (Edna) of Brighton, Ont., Sr. Mary Francis (Anita) Buckley G.S.I.C. and Thomas Buckley (Mildred) of Petawawa. Predeceased by his sisters Sr. Mary Claire (Monica) Buckley G.S.I.C. and Ursula Barrett (late John). Father Buckley will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Saturday from 7 - 9 pm. and on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. Solemn Transferral to St. Columbkille's Cathedral on Sunday June 2nd at 7 p.m. to Lie in State. A Concelebrated Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning June 3 at 11 o'clock with the Rev. Monsignor Michael Barry, Diocesan Administrator as Principal Celebrant. Interment in the family plot at St. James Cemetery, Belleville, Ontario.
