MULDOON, Donald J. Donnie - N.R.C. Technical Development Officer - retired; Member Hylands Golf Club since 1968; R.A. Curling; Knights of Columbus On Sunday, June 1, 2002, God invited Donald J. to join his foursome for the biggest golf tournament in heaven. Lovingly surrounded at home by his family, D.J. age 74, accepted God's invitation. Wonderful and loving husband for 50 years of Mary (Coady). Son of the late Catherine Nash and Stephen Muldoon. Caring father of Joanne (Tony Del Duca) of Ottawa, Judy (Richard Leavere) of Belleville, Paul of Ottawa, Shaun (Ann Marie) of Grande Prairie, AB. Grampa of Adam, "his buddy" whom he adored and loved. Brother of Eleanor (late Ambrose Wilson) of Niagara Falls, June (Jack Lavin) of Washington; Leona (late Peter Curran), Theresa (Al Jenkins) and Noreen, all of Ottawa, Patricia (Dominic Coady) of Kinburn, Gerald (Doreen) of Navan, Roy (Thelma) of Constance Bay, Leo (Adele) of Dunrobin and the late Ann Muldoon. Don was known for his great sense of humour to the very end. His golf and curling was his passion. He had great talents, which will never be replaced. Whatever his hands and mind touched he could always figure out a way to do the job. His family and many good friends will sadly miss him.
