(nee Naugler) Peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Extendicare-Starwood in Ottawa at age 85 years. Wife of the late Oliver Retallack, and lovingly remembered by her sister Orie Phelan; by her beloved children Oris, Sharon, Bruce and Ron Lauzon, their partners Michael Le Blanc, Jeremy Forbes and Rawn Remillard, and her granddaughter Jaime Forbes. She will be missed by many friends and relatives, particularly by the nephews and nieces who have remained so close in recent months - Judy Cram, Chris Phelan and Scott Phelan, and her dear friend Edwina Scott. A special thanks to the staff of Unitarian House, where she was at home for many years, and to the staff of Extendicare-Starwood who cared for her so well over the past few months. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, June 4th from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1 until the Celebration of her life in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Donations made in her memory to Unitarian House would be greatly appreciated by the family.
