December 11, 1923 - June 2, 2002 Exactly one week after saying goodbye to Sylvia, his wife of 57 years, Keith joined her early Sunday morning. His final few hours passed peacefully, after a difficult week and a much longer battle with lung disease. He will be sadly missed by his children Gary of Toronto, David (Nancy) of Ottawa, Thom (Bonita) of Calgary, Wayne (Cara) of Kemptville, Debbie (Doug Reynolds) of Rochester, New York, Charles (Chuck) McCrea (Tracy) of Thunder Bay and Nancy (Mike Murray) of Prescott. Grandpa will be fondly remembered by David, Heather, Sarah, Mark, Kristopher, Jennifer, Lindsey, Andrew, Jenn, Paula, Brent, Ian, Michael, Jonathan, Jessica, Austyn, Kolbee, Jennifer, Tara and great-grandchildren Emma, Chance and Ethan. Keith is predeceased by his parents Fremont Porter and Margaret Thompson, step mother Olivia Thompson and by a sister Julia (Mrs. Norman Mills). Also survived by a brother Ray Porter. The family wishes once again to thank the management and staff of Wellington House Nursing Home, Prescott for their attention, caring and support. Friends may call at the Chris Slater Funeral Home, 416 Dibble St. West, Prescott from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday with funeral service at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Prescott on Tuesday June 4, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment at Maynard Cemetery.
