(nee Aube) Peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 2, 2002, after a valiant effort for life, with ALS at the age of 63. Beloved wife of the late Dalton Quig who also succumbed after a heroic struggle with ALS on March 7, 2001. Much loved mother of Joseph Dalton Quig and his wife Chantal and James Noel Aube Quig. Loving grandma of Melissa, Stephanie and Nicolas. Dear sister of Carmel (Yvonne Desforges), Pauline (Rheal Groulx), Laurianne (Rolland Thomas) and Conrad all of Cornwall. Beloved daughter of the late Noel Aube and the late Albertine Lafleur; daughter-in-law of Verna and the late James Quig. Dear sister-in-law of James Robert (Francoise Briere) of Montreal and Carolyn (Bernard Rose) of Brossard. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Annunciation of Our Lord Church, followed by cremation.
