Well-known Businessman Pakenham - Arnprior May 28, 1922 - June 4, 2002 Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday morning with his loving family at his side. Milton Scheel of Pakenham in his 81st year. Devoted husband and best friend of his wife Lillian (Latendresse) Scheel. Much loved father of Gary (Mary Jane), Dale (Desiree), Terry, Randy (Brenda) and Lori (Donald) Burgess. Cherished grandfather of Corey, Marc, Krysti, Jamie, Ashley, Jason, Meaghan, Natalie and great-grandfather of Brittany and Brandon. Dear brother of Ada (late Tony) Lapierre, (Adele (Gib) Tourangeau, Verda (late Hugh) Desarmia and Dorian (late Buck) Fairfield. Predeceased by brother Garnet and sisters Eunice Gardiner and Marlyn (late Gerry) Green. Brother-in-law of Margaret Scheel and David Gardiner. Survived by sisters-in-law Jeanette (late Lawrence) Holmes, Georgette (late Cap) Barr and brother-in-law George (late Mamie). Predeceased by Paul Latendresse and Louis Latendresse. Milton is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends in the Ottawa Valley who will fondly remember him during his 56 years in business. All who knew him will remember his great sense of humour and positive outlook.He will be sadly missed by all. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 7, 2002 at 11 a.m. in The First Baptist Church, 279 Alicia Street, Arnprior. Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to The First Baptist Church or Arnprior and District memorial Hospital would be appreciated by his family.
