Peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Alexander Hadskis. Loving mother of Michael (Nicole) and Louise Down (Graham). Proud grandmother of Sean and Nicholas and predeceased by Adam. Survived by sister Mrs. Carmen Hayes. Lorraine will be remembered by her family and friends. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend a service in memory of Lorraine's life of devotion to her family and her God at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 400 St. Laurent Blvd. on Friday, June 7, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with interment of ashes to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street.
