Peacefully, at home in Ottawa, on June 7, 2002 in her 92nd year. Born in Edmonton in 1910, she was the daughter of Grace Elizabeth Maclennan and Charles Geddes Scarth. Beloved wife of the late James Douglas Watt. Predeceased by her dear son Tony. Cherished and loving mother of Mary Mitchell (Graham). Much loved grandmother of Katie Mitchell (Andrew Robinson) and great-grandmother of Graham Robinson. Beloved wife of the late Paul E.V. Peters. Predeceased by her stepdaughter Paula Coxon (Howard). Dearly loved by her stepdaughter Margot Gualtieri (Roberto). Fondly remembered by her step-grandchildren Eric and Inger Whist and Dominic Gualtieri, Mark (Jonna), Brian, Graeme and Carol Coxon (Bruce Mitchell). Beloved wife of the late Hon. Douglas C. Abbott. Lovingly remembered by her stepsons Tony Abbott (Naomi), Lewis Abbott (Urve), her stepdaughter Elizabeth Schoettle, and their children. With deep gratitude to the wonderful caregivers who helped make the last year of her life happy and comfortable.
