(nee Patriquin) Peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 12, 2002, surrounded by her family following a valiant 12 year battle with cancer. Beloved wife and soulmate of Harvey for 32 years. Devoted and loving mother of Lawrence, Rhiannon and her fiance Sheldon. Dearly loved sister of Pauline Balcom and Donalda Fleet. Marjorie will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Lisa, Lynne, Andrew, Stephen and Gregory and their families. All who knew Marjorie will remember her positive outlook and love of life. Special thanks to members of City View United Church, friends from Mind Over Cancer Support Group, wonderful neighbours and all other very special angels who helped us during a very difficult time. Grateful thanks to Dr. Gertler and staff at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre, Dr. Farncombe and Caroline of the Palliative Care Outreach Program and nursing staff of the Community Care Access Centre. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Friday, June 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at City View United Church, 6 Epworth Drive, Nepean, on Saturday at 2 p.m. A memorial donation to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
