(nee Potvin) Peacefully on June 13, 2002, at the Elmsmere Retirement Home. Predeceased by her parents Elzear Potvin and Emilia Thivierge. Beloved wife of the late Nelson Scharf. Loving mother of Jim (Joan) and Brian (Bonnie). She is survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Also by three sisters Rita Pilon, Therese Belanger and Jeannine Ouellette. Predeceased by sisters Yvette Desormeaux, Simone McCrystal and brothers Zephirin Potvin and Roger "Peter" Potvin. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), on Monday, June 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 18 at 10 a.m. Many thanks to the staff and friends of the Elmsmere Residence.
