At the West End Villa on Friday, June 14, 2002 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's, at age 91. Beloved husband of the late Eva (nee Bradley) and the late Dorothy McCloskey (nee Healy). Loving father of Gordon Worden (Leslie), Jill (David MacFarlane), Joanne (Gordon Priest), Judy Fredette, Greg McCloskey (Lois) and the late Brian McCloskey. Loving Grandfather of Christine (Jeff), Todd, Becky (Peter), Emily (Jeff), Jessica, Stephanie, Heather (Rob), Gina (Al), Karen (Gary), Paul, Connor, Hailey and the late Thomas. Very special Great-Grandfather of Michaela, Benjamin, Josh, Jamie, Zachary, Ellen, Aidan, Sara and Grace. Harold was a graduate of Queen's University (Class of '35), worked as a Mining Engineer and served with the Public Service. He loved outdoor life and served on the executive of the Ski Museum. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Monday, June 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church, 2345 Alta Vista Drive on Tuesday, June 18, at 10 a.m. Reception to follow.
