Alan James MACKIE

Retired Wing Commander, RCAF, CD, DFC (among other decorations), on June 15, 2002 in Chilliwack, BC. Born February 28, 1919, in Toronto, he served with the RCAF, RAF and USAF in WWII and with RCAF until 1968. Alan is survived by his wife Lorie, daughter Nan (Bruce) Vancouver, sons Ian (Kim) Vancouver, Craig (Margaret) Charlottetown, sister Kathryn Wiggins (the late Bill) North Bay, grandchildren Scott, Morgan, Simon, Gabrielle and Alan, and brother-in-law Dick Reeves (Marion) Miami, FL. Predeceased by brother Bruce (Clelia). Cremation. No service by request. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The Ottawa Citizen, 06-07-2002
