Peacefully at home, on Sunday, June 16, 2002, surrounded by family and those she loved after a long battle with leukemia, at the age of 37. Beloved daughter of Marion and Bob and sister of Barbara. Karyn was a free spirit who faced death as she faced life, with courage. Her short life was full and rich. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Thursday, June 20, from 12:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at the Outdoor Garden Chapel at 2:30 p.m. A donation to the Ottawa Community Care Access Centre - Education Fund for Palliative Care, or The Little Angels B.M.T.
