(Member of the Almonte Lion's Club) (April 21, 1933 - June 17, 2002) Peacefully at the Almonte General Hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Monday, June 17, 2002 at age 69. Gerald Herbert (Herb) Johnston, dear son of the late Herb James Johnston and the late Edna Plunkett. Beloved husband of Marina Parsons. Much loved father of Heather (Mrs. Steve Miller), Herb B. (Angella) Johnston all of Almonte and Paul (Anne) Johnston of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather to Ryan, Matthew and Emily Miller and Brook Johnston. Dear brother of Neville (Donna) Johnston, Carp. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the CHAPEL on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.
