(nee Burns) Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, in her 81st year. Barbara was carried by God's hands to be at the side of her loving husband of 54 years, Herbie. She leaves behind to grieve, her loving family Donna Stinson (Wayne), Valerie Harris (Eric) and Danny (Holly). Predeceased by infant son Robbie. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Shannon Misener (Sean), Kerry Stinson (Bob French) and Kelly Dean (Nick); Ryan and Kaileigh Harris; Casey, Branden and Taylor Lytle and special niece Barbara Hill. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Barbara Burns. Barbara was the last surviving member of a family of eleven brothers and sisters. We are saddened by Mom's passsing, but are comforted by her strong faith in God and love of her church. We feel sure she is in a better place without suffering and pain. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church, 225 McClellan Road, on Friday at 3 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
