C.D. Entered into rest at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, June 21, 2002 in his 86th year. Art was born in Ottawa, ON. Eldest son of the late Maude and Arthur Brim of Kingston. He served for 37 years in the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery and the Royal Canadian Artillery and retired in Ottawa as a C.W.D.I. Master Gunner in 1972. He also served for a short time in the "Public Service" in Ottawa and moved to Kingston in 1992. He is survived by his loving wife Betty for over 62 years, a brother George of Grimsby, ON, two sisters-in-law Merle and Jean and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Joan and brother Fred. Art was a long time member of Carleton Chapter No. 16 and Prince of Wales Lodge No. 371 AF & AM both of Ottawa, ON. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
