(nee Cummins) Peacefully at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home, Merrickville, on Sunday, June 23, 2002, in her 88th year. Wife of the late William (Bill) Charles Cornell, and loving mother of K. Marilyn (Mrs. Duncan Ferguson) and W. David (husband of Sue). Grandmother of Michael, Stephen (Evelyn), Andrew (Karen) Ferguson, Kathryn (Mrs. Leon Haughian) and Scott (Fiona), Tracy and Donna Cornell (Jason). Special great-grandmother of Kayla, Jessica, Amy, Kristina, Matthew Ferguson and Alicia and Grace Cornell. Grace is also survived by sisters Flora (Don Rusk), Ruth Morningstar and brothers Gordon (Joyce), Marvin (Marion) and Dale (Alberta) Cummins. Predeceased by her parents Ottie and Bessie and by brothers Earl and Donald Cummins. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, on Wednesday, June 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the charity of your choice.
