On Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 90th year. Beloved mother of Claude Lemieux and his wife Claudia of Lewiston, New York and Alice Carroll and her husband Larry of Kitchener. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Andrew Tapper and his wife Karen of Sudbury, Marjaliisa Tapper of Kitchener and fiance Anthony, Peter D. Lemieux and Gerald Lemieux both of Alberta and two great-grandchildren Danielle and Cody Lemieux of Alberta. Bernadette also leaves to mourn brothers Victor and Horace Landriault of Ottawa and one sister, Sister Rita Landriault SASV of Haileybury, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Cleophas Lemieux (1949), one sister Theresa and two brothers Jean Paul and Leonard. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place in Bernadette's birth place of North Bay in September followed by interment in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery, North Bay. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sisters of Mount Carmel or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family (cards may be obtained by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home).
