In hospital Smiths Falls on Thursday, June 27, 2002, Orville A. Covell (of Lombardy) in his 90th year, husband of the late Laura M. (Gilchrist) Covell, loved father of Lynne (Ronald) MacMillan of Lombardy. Cherished grandfather of Melanie, Dawn and Adam MacMillan. Predeceased by brother Donald and sisters Ruby (Cecil) Rea, Doris (Gordon) Hyndman and Helen (Fred) Watts. Also survived by sisters-in-law Edith Covell and Jean Gilchrist. Predeceased by sister-in-law Freda Gilchrist, brothers-in-law Arthur (Florence) Gilchrist and Gordon (Verna) Gilchrist. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Smiths Falls from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lombardy on Monday, July 1 at 11 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.
