Peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2002, at the age of 70. Dear mother of Cal (Diane Kaminski), Cathy Kirkpatrick (Tony Lyons), and her precious late son Cameron. Treasured Gramma of Marley and Samantha. Caring sister of Florence (the late Bill Woycik), Dona (Rutherford McIntyre), sister-in-law Thelma Fraser, and predeceased by a brother Linton. Fondly remembered by all the Kirkpatrick family, Dot (the late Murray), Lois, Herb and George. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbours from her childhood on the farm, the Ottawa curling scene, Black Lake, The Ottawa Board of Education, Graham Park and her new friends in retirement. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd) on Monday, July 1st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Cremation. For those wishing, a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated. Willie touched the hearts of everyone she met.
