(1955-2002) Robert "the Bobber" Acheson beloved husband and best friend of Eleanor Watt passed away at The Ottawa General Hospital on June 29, 2002 of cancer. Bob will be missed by Ellie's daughters Sheryl Watt and Tracey Ruysenaars, his parents, Albert and Elsie Acheson, cherished brother of, Douglas Acheson and his wife Joan and family, Janet Henderson and her husband Brad and family, Margaret Fleming and her son Patrick, Linda Cross and her husband Rodney and family, Patricia and family, Charles, and his special nana Del Clouston. Bob made friends around the world in his unquestionably unique manner. He will be remembered by his family and by all the people he touched for his sense of humour, style, integrity and greatness of heart. A service in celebration of Bob's life will be held Friday, July 5, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pine Hills Chapel and Reception Centre (625 Birchmount Road, North of St. Clair). As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. The Ottawa Citizen, 02-07-2002
