On Saturday June 29, 2002, in hospital, after a brief illness. Giovanni Pietrantonio at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Maria (nee D'Angelo). Cherished father of Rosa Maria Blais (Stephen) and Lena Holloway (Derek). Dear nonno of Victoria, Gillian, Gabriella and Christian. Survived by siblings Nicola (Carmela) and Anna Barnabo (late Marco) of Ottawa and Maria Pietrantonio and Concetta Ciomo (Giovanni) of Chieti, Italy. Son of the late Rocco and Maria Rosa (nee Pompo) of Pretoro, Italy. Dear brother-in-law of Rocco D'Angelo (Giuseppina). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (centretown) Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday to St. Anthony's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Entombment Capital Memorial Gardens.
