At the Queensway Carleton Hospital, on Thursday, July 4, 2002, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 85. Beloved and dear husband of 61 years to Valeda Talbot. Dear father of Romeo "Ray" (Monica), Jerome (Helene), Rene (Patricia), Diane (Tim), Murielle (Sal), Nicole (Eric), Micheline (Ted), Yves (Diane), Daniel (Monique), Alain (Audrey) and Luc-Andre. He will be sadly missed by his 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Lionel. Predeceased by his parents Alphonce and Bernadette, his brothers Oscar and Albert, and sister Blanche Fedorchuk. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until Funeral Service in the chapel at 12 noon. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. His family offers their most profound thanks to the nurses and doctors on the fourth floor Palliative Care Unit for the care that Romeo has received at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
