March 4, 1921 - July 13, 2002 Announcing with deep sadness the passing of Bryan, beloved husband of Vicky. Cherished father of Beverley (Ian) and Celia (John). Adored grandfather of Patrick, Michelle, Nathalie and Monica. Predeceased by his beloved brother Geoff. Bryan will be fondly remembered by his family in Australia, England and British Columbia. B.Sc. distinction, Botany, Rhodes University, South Africa; Charelick Saloman Scholarship, M.A. Forestry, First Class Distinction, Oxford University; Rhodes Scholar. Bryan worked for the Rhodesian Forestry Commission, the Canadian Forestry Service and then was a consultant for fifteen years with FAO, United Nations in Rome, World Bank in Washington, D.C. and IMF in New York. Bryan will be forever remembered as a gentleman, a passionate lover of nature and a proud member of Marleybone Cricket Club, Lords. A private memorial service was held on July 16.
