Retired - Former Dept. External Affairs Peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2002, at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus at the age of 88. Loving daughter of the late Orphile Gallien and the late Marie "Nellie" Langevin. Beloved sister of the late Etta Gallien (the late George Baker), the late Alorine Gallien (the late Earl Choquette) and the late Orphile Gallien (the late Helen Pollex). Predeceased by her dear nephew George Baker (Louise Boulay). Cherished aunt of Ann Choquette (Howard Perron), Joan Baker (Derek Pomfret) of San Diego, California, Barbara Baker (Brian Busby), Orphile Gallien (Gaetane Villeneuve), Helen Gallien (Jacques Lafortune). Dear friend of Delrene McGuirl, Lois Wilson, Wynne Chappelle, Eileen Paquette, Nadia Rovinelli, Margo Perron, Don Carter, Patrick Gillan, Mary Morley, Gerard Lavelle, Muriel McCuaig, Jacqueline Castonguay, Eric and Evelyn Kimsey, Ted and Ola Uranowski. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Monday, July 15, 2002 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church (corner of Cartier and Somerset) on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Notre-Dame Cemetery, Ottawa. A reception to follow at the McGarry Family Reception Centre, 328 McLeod Street. For those wishing, in memoriam donations may be made to the Shepherds of Good Hope.
