Peacefully on July 15, 2002 at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Lucille (nee Longtin). Loving father of Muriel (Carl Smith), Fern (Don Ursu), and Peter (Patricia). Cherished grandfather of Lynn (Todd Kirkwood), Mark and Craig Smith, Monique (Garen Carr) and Annette (Steve McWhinnie). Great-grandfather of Tanya, Jill, Mitchell, Jordon, Ryan, Chase and Bayden. Survived by sisters Noelie Lanois and Madeleine Campeau and brother Gerald (Denise) and sisters-in-law Aline Gagne and Lucienne Longtin. Friends may pay their respects at the Chesterville Funeral Home, 62 Queen Street, Chesterville, on Wednesday, July 17th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Service will take place on Thursday, July 18th at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Chesterville.
