Royal Canadian Air Force, 408 Squadron, P.O.W. Peacefully in hospital, on Friday, July 19, 2002, Donald (Bud) Davies of Metcalfe in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Gwen (Fitzsimmons). Dear father of Joanne (Garry Warner) of Calgary, Sheila (Rolland Calderon) of Texas and Margo (Chris Kelly) of Metcalfe. Sadly missed Grandfather of Stephanie, Mark and Lauren Warner and Ryan and Kelsey Kelly. Brother-in-law to Patricia Davies of Nelson, B.C., Joan Fitzsimmons of Ottawa and Ken and Louise Fitzsimmons of Ohio. Predeceased by sister Lois Whalley, brother Shirley Davies and brother-in-law Keith Fitzsimmons. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street, (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
