Taken suddenly in the early hours of Saturday, July 20, 2002, Phyllis Susan Catherine McDonald (nee Danford), of Toronto. Beloved wife of G. Campbell McDonald for 57 eventful and happy years together in London, Wallaceburg, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Memories of Sue will be fondly treasured by Cam, daughter Mary Pat McDonald (Dennis Metcalfe), and son Anthony (Dianne), all of Toronto; daughter-in-law Julia McDonald of Barrie; Adriana Violo McDonald and Jacqueline McDonald of Toronto, to whom she was a loving "Suema". Another son, Capt. Kenneth McDonald, a Naval pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces, predeceased in 1974. Sue's brother Frank Danford of Brockville; sister-in-law Terry McDonald of Pointe Claire, Quebec; brothers-in-law Andrew G. McDonald (Irene) of Ottawa, and Keith McDonald of Montreal, also survive. Special thanks to paramedics Chris and Ken of EMS for their rapid and caring response. Farewell on Wednesday, July 24, 2002, with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Centre, Don Valley Chapel, 50 Overlea Blvd., Toronto (East York). Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Sheppard Avenue east of Bayview, at 2:00 p.m., followed by cremation.
