Peacefully with his family by his side, on Monday, July 22, 2002 at Forest Hill, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mabel (Hamilton). Much loved father of Elaine (Orville O'Connor). Cherished grandfather of Kirk (Sandy Fisk), Melanie (Ted Wilson) and Darren and great-grandfather of Nicholas O'Connor. Also loved by chosen daughters, Lissa Tripp (Ron Verkirk), Cathy (Preston Davies) and their children Jackie and Robbie Verizer and Trevor and Conrad Davies. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Adelaide (Henderson) and granddaughter Amanda Sarah O'Connor. Friends may call at the Valley Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
