Peacefully at her home in Perth, Ontario on Monday, July 22, 2002, Norma R. (Taylor) McArthur (former resident of Beamsville, Ontario), at the age of 82. Daughter of the late Fay Wallace and the late Allan Taylor. Loved wife of the late S/L Edwin George McArthur (R.C.A.F.). Cherished mother of Peter McArthur of Perth. Dear sister of Claire (Vincent) Gouthro of Toronto. Devoted grandmother of Kimberly and Pamela and great-grandma of Taylor, Joeli, Sarah, Alison and Karli. As a military family, over 30 years, she travelled as a family throughout Eastern Canada and Western Europe. We were always met by long term friends and acquaintances. Our existence was made pleasurable by all those we met and previous companions. She cherished all of her friends across Canada, the U.K. and the U.S. A private family interment will be held in Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville, Ontario. In remembrance, contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth, Ontario. The Ottawa Citizen, 24-07-2002
