William George BARBER

At the Smiths Falls District Hospital on Tuesday July 23, 2002. Bill Barber of Merrickville in his 88th year. He was a son of the late Frank and Charlotte Barber. Beloved husband of the late Grace Edwards for 60 years. Loving father of Glen and his wife Lorraine of Merrickville, Marilyn and her husband Steve of Petawawa, and Dennis and his wife Kathy of Merrickville. Cherished grandfather of Pat and her husband Dan of Kingston, and Brent and his wife Joy of Merrickville and great-grandfather of Dustin and Jessica Urquhart of Kingston. Dear brother of Myrtle Cross and Nellie Yankovich, and brother-in-law of Anne and Vera Barber. Predeceased by brothers Joe, Sam and Roy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home in Smiths Falls on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Masonic Service will be held at Lannin's on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Merrickville United Church on Friday July 26, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Merrickville Union Cemetery.
